If you could just get me a length of the bulb that would be great. From the part that rests on the housing to the tip... so everything that would be inside the lense, and then a measurement from the metal base to the back of the light....talk to me on aim sometime

Holy crap! How do they look at night?

What kit did you get again? Just the conversion kit for a h3 bulb?

havent had a chance at night yet...i cant do the compare anymore cause when i first had probs i forgot to disconnect the battery and popped the other bulb...

for some reason i cant get the passenger side to work, going to go back and solder all connections. in hindsight i should have just drilled a bigger hole in the back of the housing, the lights came with all the wiring plus a grommet that would have made it sooo easy but i didnt have the tools around to drill out the hole anymore. but i instead clipped all the wiring and used connectors through the housing/grommet.

yea it was just a conversion kit off ebay. $70

first weekend in June i will tackle these again, busy till then

not sure what the ignitor is...but one ballast is on the header panel and the other is bolted in next to the horn on the radiator shroud

dropping my truck off at lunch today so wont get any night shots for at least a week...

maybe you dont have an ignitor.. i forget if you said they were digital or not.. usiwaly it will be a small black box inline that connects your bulbs to the ballast.. so it would go from your standard connection into the wireing harness then it splices the connection to your balast then from the balast there should be another connection on it the ignitor goes in that then the bulb pigtails connect into the ignitor.

dont think they are digital then...no box, just some connectors before the ballast...

also i notice when i turn them on with my engine off, i hear a sizzle sound for about a half second, but i dont get that sound when i turn on my headlights...that supposed to happen?

well the balast will "sizzle" while they are on kinda like a buzzing sound thats normal.. if it dosent happend when the headlight are on it bay be either blocking the interference or somthing like that.. on my old car i only had hid headlights and they buzzed all the time.. not really shure why it goes away when you turn on your headlights, only other thing i can think of is maybe its cause they are ebay cheap HID's...
