Electical ?

Does a bad 4x4 shift motor have any influence on the rest of the circuit? What I mean is lets say the shift motor is bad, does that effect weather the module clicks or the 4 low/high lites come on? Reason I ask is I can tap on the shift motor and then everything works as it should "for awhile" then next time I start it, nothin works again. No lites or clicking from the module. Trying to determine which component is actually bad.

Your module could be bad, I've heard of the motors getting stuck because they don't get used much.

Mine turned out to be the module.

Thats the problem "could be" So basically replace the cheaper one first? How much are the modulers? Im sure a few hundred? It sucks that things like such go out so soon. I only have 42K on it.
