HELP:03 blinker mod

I read the how-to on blinker mod so i tried it today. My 2003 is different than the truck on the how-to. Here is what i got....Brown and Black wire coming off the side marker, White, Brown, Black wire coming off the outer turn signal, and dont know if this matters but green with a blue stripe, Black, green with black stripe coming off the headlight bulb. Could someone please tell me hoe to do the blinker mod on my truck..Thanks

The how-to instructions tell you tocut black and brown on side marker light, cut brown and green outer turn signal, and then it says strip all six wires....what other two wires is it talking about

hmm... I did this on my 07... I cut the ground wire from the 194 bulbs (black, if not black then its a grey with a black stripe on it) and used a splicer to tap into the 3157 ground. should be black wire on the 3157 too...

This will work on your 2003.

Extend the end of that black wire coming from the corner by adding more wire of the appropriate gauge.

Tee that extended wire into the hot turn signal wire of the park/turn lamp on the same side of the truck as the corner.

Turn signal hot wire colors:
PS= white w/light blue stripe
DS= light green w/ white stripe

Remember that these connections will be exposed to weather for years to come. It is in your best interest to make reliable connections now and protect them from corrosion.

Are you sure you dont run the jumper to the brown wire cause the black one seems to just blow fuses?

Went out and tried running a jumper on the passager side to the brown wire off the side marker turned on the turn signal and ALL my front light blink except for the headlights...so i guess you cant do a blinker mod on my truck

Cut the ground wire (black) going to the corner.

Then find the cut end of the black wire coming FROM the corner, NOT the one that goes back into the harness to ground.

Then tap that end of the black wire FROM the corner to the hot wire of the turn signal as described in my post above.

(If the black wire is making the fuse melt, then you are wiring to the wrong cut end of the black wire.)
