headlights not working low beam

Icon14 headlights not working low beam

Have 1993 4 cylinder, 5 speed ive test light the headlight connector, and have replacement on off switch, still no low beams, have high beams, but only while holding the blinker indicator pull all way back is it possibly that high beam low beam switch??is there a relay im missing i dont have a book yet thought id ask for some advice here first,... ive heard about splicing some wires together at the on off switch, but would have lowbeam only then. i just want it like it suposed too be..PLEASE reply Thanks p.s. horn not working either..

if the high beams work, then I wouldn't think it's a relay.

It sounds like you need to trace the wires coming from the switch.... if the "temp high beam" works, then I'd check the wires to the switch. Are you sure the switch you replaced it with was good?

I'd imagine his grounds would be ok since when he uses his passing/flashing high beam function, they work.

PS... regarding the horn: there's a fuse and probably a relay for the horn... the fuse is easy to locate, but a relay, I've got no clue.

I have the same problem in a 94 splash. My headlight switch/connector were melted so I bought a new switch and got a harness from junkyard and it still wont work.

Anybody?
