has anyone done this?

How do you plan on doing this? There's only 1 collector that combines the two manifolds. If you got headers that each had their own collector, yes you could run true dual exhaust. Even then I think it may cause problems with all the sensors you have to have in the system down there

You would throw CELs and not pass inspections.

not if he did it right i was thinking of doing the same thing you have to put highflow cats n it and put the o2 sensors back in. you can defiantly do it everyone on here is afraid to run true duals. if i had the money i would defiantly do it.

Well yeah but he didn't say anything about cats or anything. With the cats and o2 sensors you'll be fine. Just gotta find enough room to run 2 mufflers. I doubt you'll see any performance difference anyway.

inspections? whats that?

i thought they got rid of that like 20 years ago. the only inspections i would have on my truck would be if i had to take it to ford to get something fixed.

maybe FL just doesn't do that anymore.

isnt there the things that you can buy to bypass the o2 sensors?

if not i could just do hiflow cats

I agree. too much flow not enough push. its one thing with a 400hp big block, but we're only talkin about a 4.0 v6 (207hp) good thinkin tho. but would sound not very pretty.
