HELLA 500FF HELP

Hi guys I have a friend selling me Hella 500ff lights and he said that the lights worked fine but that one day they justed stopped working, he told me he thinks its a fuse or something like that..........Are they fixable, I kinda think their fixable but i dont really know......Thanks any help is good

Could be fuses. The 500FF's have inline fuses that are easily replaced.

Depends on what is wrong with them and how much he is asking. They are fairly cheap to begin with and can sometimes be found on clearance at Walmart.

My 500 black magics quit on me all of a sudden and it just turned out to be the switch. If they both quit working at the same time I'm sure it'll be something wiring related/

He wants $20 bucks....so they are fixable.......and what kind of places fix that kind of stuff

for 20 bucks its a good deal, wprst case scenario is the wiring is bad and you have to make new wiring. a good way to check the lights is to put the hot on the + on the bat and the ground on the - on the bat.

I'd pick them up, its easy to find a short or just redo all your own wireing harness. I jhave 5 of those hella harness still new in the package. Gotta love clearance at wally world

i found out whats wrong with them..............its a red cable thats burned where can I find it

just go to radio shack or a hardware store or walmart and get the same guage wiring that the lights use.

you can pick up 50ft rolls of various wire sizes for like $10 @ wally

how can i check and see of the actual lights work? can i connect them to a battery or something like that
