strange squeak... from transmission
ok i have started to have this really strange squeak coming from the transmission bellhousing... i have determined its not the engine belt since i removed it and started it for 20 seconds and the noise was still there... it makes the noise at idle and at speed... any ideas on what this could be?

its a somewhat easy fix, its located at the rear of the engine, it takes the place of a distributor but has a small hall effect type sensor built into it.
i have seen off shore knock off's from dorman selling for under 45 bucks.
i personally will be going with another ford part as this also drives the oil pump.
