Fuel Shut off/reset switch on 99?
Im going to replace my fuel filter after class and my haynes manual says there is a "switch" behind the glove box that has a reset button on it and it tells me to disconnect the switch and run the truck till it stalls, to remove pressure in the system. I pulled the glovebox down and i didn't see anything with a reset switch.
Anyone know what they are talking about? or if someone knows what fuse i can take out of the fusebox or relay under the hood that would be cool too.
Thanks

You're talking about the inertia cutoff switch, right?
Mine is close to the passenger side kick panel, but it's not behind it. It's next to it, I think I had to pull back the carpet a bit. It's about same size around as a AA mag-light and has a red reset button on top. I just disconnected the wiring harness from it and let the truck run till it died and then gave it a few more cranks for good measure.
