Replacing headlight bulb
Hello, just wondering if anyone has some tip on how to freakin replace the headlight bulb on the passenger side. I took a look at it today, and I don't see how the heck I'm suppose to get to that bulb. Would it be best if I just remove the whole headlight? Right now, that seems to be the only way. Some of these Ford engineers should work on these vehicle that they designed, sheesh. I thought getting to the last sparkplug on the passenger side was bad.....Oh yeah, it's a 2001 Ranger Edge. TIA.

yeah might be easier to remove the headlight assembly.... there are two 'latches' that connect the headlight assemblies to the header panel. pull the latches straight up, and they will disengage the headlight pegs, and you should be able to pull the headlight assembly straight out. then, there is a plastic lock shroud over the headlight harness - twist and slide off. then out comes the headlight harness, replace the bulbs and that should be it!

I've been doing radio and lighting on some '05 Chevy silverado pickups and dump trucks over the last few months. Complete removal of the gril. Complete removal of all the front lights. Complete removal of the dash plastic. Complete removal of every piece of trim. Center roof hole for an antenna. I didn not encouter one single screw. It is all plastic tabs. I swear to god, the entire front end from fender to fender was off the truck in less than 5 minutes including the headlights. Too bad Ford's aren't that easy.
