Dome Light Question

Is it possible to make it so the dome light doesn't come on when you open the doors? Like have it so it will only come on when you turn the dash light dimmer up all the way? This dimmer thing

you'd have to disconnect the door switches. shouldn't be too hard if you have manual locks. power locks, im not too sure
