Horns
Ok for Christmas i got an air horn i put it in works great. last week i wanted to put my stock horn in with my air horn to make it really loud i wired it all up and tried it i lasted about 1/2 a second and cut out i looked and the fuse had gone out. i then thought well the fuse is 15 and each horn is 12. 2 horns stock and air =12 so that’s over 15. my question is can i put a bigger fuse in the horn spot to like a 30 or is 15 the max. i mean will it do something if i do i haven’t yet but thought i should ask first thanks

The fuse is 15 amps for a reason. Doubling it so you can overload the circuit is the perfect way to melt the harness and burn your truck to the ground. You should use the existing horn circuit to drive a relay and that can switch your massive horns without your truck having a meltdown.
DO NOT REPLACE THE FUSE WITH A BIGGER ONE

I'm with Fireranger on this one. The wiring gauge is designed for specific loads. That circuit can handle 15 AMPS safely, do not bypass this feature.
It will be easier to wire in a relay, then to replace the wiring harnesses from the fuse box, to the horn and any other components you fry...
EDIT:Glad to see you learned the way of The Force, now go forth and wire that relay!

You should have 3 wires on your relay.
Hot from battery
Hot from horn
Ground
Basically, you have a HOT wire from the battery going to the relay, that powers your extra horn. You need a hot wire from the existing horn, to close the connection in the relay, so the extra horn gets it's power...I can not be precise about which wire goes where, without seeing it. If your wires are marked(which they should be), tell me what they say, and I can tell you where they go.
USUALLY, there is an inline fuse on the wire that goes directly to the battery, and USUALLY the ground is a black wire with a ring terminal on it...
If you have no real wiring experience, maybe you should come to a meet, and have somebody assist you. NOT do it for you, just assist you, so you can learn in a controlled manner. Much safer/cheaper than hooking it up wrong, and frying something
