LED Conversion

I am currently in the process of converting all of my interior lighting to 3-bulb cluster LED lighting. So far I am very impressed with the results, I have replaced my map lights in my stock dome, and my glove box light, Next is to tear apart the dash to replace all of them in the cluster and the HVAC controls. They work and look great so far will keep anyone who is interested updated in this post, and will post progression pictures, right now waiting on my order of LEDs to come in the mail.

Good. I'm particularly interested in ones in the gauges and the evenness of the lighting. I have hand painted gauge overlays and I want to keep them but I need white light behind them.

AHHH yesss.....the anxious wait for China! lol. I just recently de-modded all my LEDs. I had an overlay over the stock gauges, but did blue leds in all the swiches/buttons stuff like that...using Mr. Mod Man Griggs' cardomain.

Bob....on my new expo cluster, I used those PIAA wannabe 194s.....lights up nice white now. Not led. My friend Trevor took a set of '03 ranger gauges apart, scraped off the green, and colored them, then modded a crap load of leds into the housing. I'll see if i can find a link...

Well heres my update, I am now talking to a rep out of Las Vegas and trying to agree on the price of the bulbs, until then I had a friend get ahold of 15 more of them. Does anyone know how many lights are in the cluster? I know there is two for the HVAC but how many for the speedo tach and all the other crap?
