2006 washer pump wiring diagram
The washers stopped on my 2006 Ranger. Pump works when jumped, have good ground from pump. Washer/Wiper fuse is good. I need to find a wiring diagram that shows the multi function switch washer wiring to finish tracking this down. Can anyone lead me to a diagram for this? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum
There is no direct connection between Multi-function switch and washer pump, been that way since 1995 Rangers
The multi-function switch connects to the SJB(smart junction box, aka body computer) in 2004-2011 Rangers
SJB runs all the cab electrics(GEM module was the body computer, 1995-2003)
The one fuse powers all wiper/washer functions, but the wipers and washers do have separate relays in the engine bay fuse box
I would start in engine bay fuse box and the washer relay, you can swap it with a similar style relay in that fuse box and see if pump comes on when activated
All these relays are Ground controlled, whole wiper system is ground controlled
The relays all get 12volts with key on
The SJB grounds each relay's coil to activate it
The Multi-function switch Grounds the SJB to activate its functions to activate the relays, lol
So your not going to be testing for voltage, breakout the OHM meter to test for good grounds
Although you could test that the washer relay's base has 2 12v slots with key on
Heads up
SJBs are known for moisture intrusion in their 4 larger connectors, which can cause odd issues
This article has good pictures of the SJB: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...-modification/
But nothing to do with your problem
In the below wiring diagram you will see all wiper/washer functions come in and go out on connector C2280A
SJB connectors are all C2280, but A, B, C, and D
A-D seen here: https://ww2-secure.justanswer.com/up...636_ranger.gif
Pull the C2280A connector and look for signs of corrosion
Each connector has a lever that you pull up which lifts the connector away from the SJB to remove it

Need one of these: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/374650527202...4AAOSw7G5k1FNl
Ford publishes a Shop Manual Set for every model every year so Ford shops can troubleshoot any problems on new vehicles
"Wring Diagrams" book is part of that set but often sold separately, 1998 and earlier it was called EVTM(electrical and vacuum troubleshooting manual)
Includes wiring for all sub-models and options for that year
They are basically free to use because you can resell them when no longer needed, always a market for them
