low idle wants to die

my ranger just recently started idling really low and stalling sometimes when in park or nuetral...................not sure why, i recently did the spark plugs and wires and put a new spectre oiled filter in. im talking like 4 months and 7000 miles ago... so i thought maybe i would need to clean the maf..... but it is still doing it... any ideas would be great

the whine is your power steering. you really cant just get rid of that (turn up the radio)

are are all cylinders firing? have it code checked at autoZ or advance or whatever you have

oil filter suck my left nut, a normal solid $15<x filter filter does the job just fine. the oil gets sucked off the filter and covers the two wires on your Mass Air Flow sensor in effect clogging it so your engine has no idea the incoming air O2 content. NO MORE OIL

what pluigs did you use. MOTORCRAFT is made by ford, for ford, so you can put it in your ford and KNOW you wont have problems. use motor craft. if your plugs have metal in them that sound like they were mined on an alien planet then thats the signal for crap.

last auggestion is to make sure the IAC isnt stuck open or closed. get in there with a really tiny brush (makeup store) and really clean it.

haha. no the whine isn't my power steering im a ford guy through and through and can hear a ford power steering pump from a mile away. :) anyway, i will take it off again but i sprayed the **** out of it and cleaned it with a tooth brush size brush. no codes what so ever, i have a code reader. and yes i have autolites in her. wouldn't use anything else. i read some posts saying about the pcv. i will change that tomorrow cause i was going to anyway. any other ideas.??
