Arm rest question and a locker question

Hi guys, I got a 03 fx4 lvlII, i plan on doing it up further and taking care of it. It's been treating me good ever since i bought it.

Im happy with the rear end and find it great with the factory locker that it has.I am wondering how reliable are the front ends in these trucks to handle a lunchbox locker? I had one in my last jeep and loved it. I am still not too knowledgable about the rangers yet. I plan on running no bigger then 33's, they are big enough for my needs.

Additionally,
My flip up arm rest is broken off the factory hinge. Now that i have some time , i'd like to fix it. Is there a better replacement ( upgrade ) for these? or should i buy one at a junk yard?

Thanks!!
Best Regards,
NLB
