Front end the same on 3.0 and 4.0?
I've got an opportunity to buy a new front end pkg for a 2002 2WD 4.0 Ranger at a good price. Will it work on my 1999 2WD 3.0? Pkg includes:
- Control Arm assemblies
- Strut assemblies
- Wheel hubs
- Ball Joints
- Rotors
- Brake Pads
- Tie Rods ends
- Stabilizer bar bushings

the 1999 - 2002 or 3.0 to 4.0 isn't the problem
The problems are going to be are they
Suspension parts
The same type of front suspension ? = Torsion Bar or Coil Spring , yes 2WD drive Rangers could have either.
Brake parts
The same type of brakes ?, Rear Wheel ABS or 4 Wheel ABS, yes a 2WD Ranger could have either.
Stabilizer Bar Bushings, 27MM or 30MM
And a Ranger can have any combination of the above packages,
So just because the set you are looking at has the correct suspension, doesn't mean it has the correct brakes, or the other way around.
