Gauge cluster
New to forum. Have had many rangers and I'm a member of fullsizebronco.com just to introduce my self. My problem is 1990 ford ranger 5 speed with 2.9. I got it a couple weeks ago. The guy I got it from replaced the gauge cluster and I no that because the organial one is on the back.
So when I was coming home tonight I turned on the lights and the gauges went crazy. Water temp was way up oil was passed H and battery was low. The headlights almost seemed kinda dim but I'm not positive
I was thinking maybe loose battery cable but I got out when I got home and there tight.
When I turn off the lights the gauges go
Back slow to read right
It has new alternator and battery
Well drove it to work this morning and didnt have the lights on and the gauges were still acting funny. The speedometer is working good and so is is the fuel gauge. Tach acts kinda funny sumtimes. Thanks for the advice
