My Plug-n-Play LED's
So for those of you not really good with soldering or playing with resistors like me and want to LED your interior lights then this post is for you. I have opted for plug and play LED's. Some people have told me the plug and plays dont light up enough like the traditional bulbs. So Im going to play with a few different types of plug and play LED's and see if I cant find the perfect brightness. Here im going with BLUE throughout my interior, yes, pretty much like the same as EVERYONE else lol but It just matches my CD player.
In this post ill provide what Plug and Play LEDs i bought and what site i got them off of.
I have sent off my 4x4 switch, Fog light switch, and Cruise Control pods to have LED's soldered into place since i suck at it lol.
I went ahead and bought me a sport trac cluster with the white faces for looks.
Here is a picture of the HVAC with the Blue LEDs installed:#74-xHP3 LED CAR BULB
I have bought 6 Blue LED 194 bulbs for the Gauge Cluster im getting and here are the specs:WLED-x5(194 type) Wedge Base Bulbs
Once I get the Sport Trac Cluster then ill try the 194 bulbs out and see how bright they are. Ill update accordingly.

The HVAC controller has 2 bulbs in it... Mine were #74 size bulbs. "#74-xHP3" is the part number. In that link it shows up with a picture showing 3 leds that look like circuit boards....
They look like this:
under the picture it has a "buy now" button, click that and it will give you options on what colors and how many you want.. hope that helps

after blue leds, yeah. if you just paint the black 'cover' and remove the color sheet and use stock bulbs or white led's, the blue/red temp will look like stock.
