need help electrical problem

hey guys im in need of some major help. last night after my truck sat for eight hours or so i start it up and one headlight is real dim the winshield wipers wont move at all and the heat was not blowing on any setting. the tach was unbelieveably high and all the lights in the instrument panel were out except for the dummy lights. the cel was on and so was the abs light and something else and the battery light would flash and then sometimes stay on and then flicker back off. and when first started the driver side tail light turn signal was stuck on and i had no turn signals at all after i turned emergency flashers off and on so help me out. I jsut checked the battery voltage under load and it was 14.2 any ideas whats wrong?

Also noticed the tach jumps 500 rpm when I turn on headlight switch and goes back down when turn off.

never mind all, figured it out, was a loose ground wire that connects to the inner fender, tightened back up and all was fixed.
