84 Ranger Wipers: Breaker-Breaker
Hello,
Sometimes the wipers will not stop working regardless of the stalk position, so I remove the 6A circuit breaker module from the fuse box. Later on they 'reset' to normal behaviour.
Other times the wipers will stop in mid-sweep on their own accord (maybe a momentary overload from ice/snow) with all power on. Then I remove the breaker and usually after reinstalling it a few times I can get the wipers to reposition in the horizontal - usually by the end of the day. Plugging in the breaker will sometimes only move them an inch before cutting out till another try an hour later.
Any experience with this problem, and is the steering column switch reasonably accessible?
Clues & help wanted & appreciated,
Thanks, Gordon
