Stinky A/C

Stinky A/C
My vents started to reaaaally stink, like granny's feet after a 30 miles walk.
I searched a bit about that, and heard it could be mold or some kind of fungus building up on the evaporator core. I also read it can be solved by spraying Lysol into the air intake.... but where's that ?? Should I spray it on the outside, under the wipers, or somewhere under the dash, or is there any hose that I can easily reach. I'll be buying Lysol ASAP, but i still need to know where to spray it...
Also learned a few tricks to prevent that... like using the A/C more often, and turn it off a few miles before arriving to destination.
Do you guys have any other tips or ways to solve that ?

I tried using lysol..only worked for a week or two. I tried lots of things....when shutting the truck off I put it on AC and do it every time I shut the truck off. I haven't had the mold stink since I've started doing that. Lets the air get in there and dry out any moisture.

What the hell is this about lysol and A/C? Seriously - if it stinks bad, you probably have either a dead mouse that 'somehow' crawled its way in - or your Coil/Heater core is going bad and your smelling hot fluid leaking its way out. Does your window ever fog up at all with the heat on?
BTW, the odor is gone now, did'nt have to use lysol or do anything major; i just used the a/c alot, and also full heat, to dry things out. I'm still going to spray lysol in there when i have some free time.
