ECM Connection Problems

Help please, I just got a 1995 Ranger XLT 2wd automatic w/overdrive, 3.0 liter engine from my cousin it had been running fine until one day it started not wanting to start and we finally tracked it down to the ECM wiring harness connecter we had to move it around to get it to started. After that it ran fine for a couple of weeks it started shifting funny so we moved the connecter again and tightened down the bolt and it ran fine for a couple of weeks and then did it again, so to make a long story short she had the ECM rebuilt and we put it back in and it ran fine for a few days and then it started doing the same thing again, so she tried looking for a wiring harness no luck she said. So she bought another car and some months later moved to the city and just gave me the truck. It has a strong motor and transmission and ran great I drove it around the farm for a few months and it did great but it still has the issue of having to move the connecter around I have looked every where on the internet for a replacement harness with no luck i am going to hit the junk yards and pick and pull yards and hopefully locate one it might even be a cut and splice job. Does any body know of any online places to locate such a part as wiring harnesses or has any one ever had this problem and solved it in any other way other than a new/used harness or a cut and splice, I can not even find the connecter online. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS LONG POST

Found and fixed the problem, one of the female connectors in the wiring harness at the pcm connector plugin was loose we were able to take it apart after finally finding which wire was loose. The female ends are role crimps and some how had been wobbled open and not getting a good connection, so we squeezed it together some and now it runs like a champ. We think it got that way by the wiring harness being pushed on while the transmission filler tube was being used to check the fluid level or by someone pushing on it while doing some other work don't really know just a theory.
