Which one? You've got the bigger stud that takes the juice from the battery. And you've got the small wire that does i don't remember. lol.

I'd be going to like ace hardware or any hardware store and get a ton of nuts. 3/16" and under. I think the little stud is about a #10 machine screw. I'm pretty sure my starter had one big stud, two little studs and only one little stud was being used....there was a spare nut on the 'extra' stud. Might try that out. The big stud I think is about a 10mm stud or 3/8". Could be a little smaller like 8mm or 5/16".

Alright people it's 1am and I found a bolt in my stash of things that works. Added a washer and it is just fine for now.. I think it became stripped some how.

At least it may be just stripped instead of the stud snapping in half. I had that happen to me on my first trans drop in the ranger. Now...I don't unhook any electrical...just let the starter dangle! lol.

Haha I have been trying to get my truck registered for over a year! the DMV has sent me all incorrect information as far as phone numbers and no one calling me back. 3 wasted days having a officer at my house doing some paper work and me taking it in with only to be told "This is incorrect.. You need a certified Vin inspection." They I call them and they say that the certified person is not working for 3 weeks vacation. so I'm waiting for this person to get back and they tell me the officer lost their cert. Now I'm pissed and getting mad. Went to the DMV and *****ed them out for all this fiasco. I finally got a hold of a Certified inspector and had it done today. Ha! A couple days ago I had to stealth the truck to a shop to have it stamp "Rebuild from Salvage" on the cab. Very sad yea I know!
