check on motor alldata and the factory ground is the center which would be white for the aftermarket blue connector.

their 2bi- xenon hid converstion kit... so i figured out the problem the wiring for the hid blue connector was wrong right out of the box... so factory female plug is lg/bk(L), blk(center), dblue/lg(R), high-grd-low, and the blue connector is now white(L), brown(center), Blue(R), problem solved....

Yeah I have got a similar problem. I installed this...NOTTOŽ SE - Complete HID Conversion Kit - 2001 Ford Ranger HID Kit...today and I have great output, but it only stays in high beam mode, even with switching from high to low with the turn signal/windshield wiper control arm. I will take this info from this post and see if I can't tweak with the blue connector cause I am pretty sure that's where the problem is. I have triple checked all wires, I have grounded everything extremely well, and made sure the ballasts weren't getting too hot and after 5 hours, still no avail. Simple plug in and enjoy my ***...
