Code 0301 – Cyl 1 Misfire…after using Seafoam

After reading this thread, I decided to give Seafoam a try. The procedure went well and I got lots of smoke. Now my check engine light is flashing code 0301 - cyl 1 misfire. I just replaced plugs and wires about a year ago. Should I pull the plug and check for anything?

And the Seafoam can says guaranteed or money back, whats the process of getting my money back from them?

You more than likely just knocked a piece of carbon lose that fouled the plug. Either pull the plugs and clean them or just put a new set in and you'll be good to go.

Don't try to get your $ back if it fouled some plugs, thats bound to happen. Just pull your plugs and replace as necessary. You said you got lots of smoke... makes me think fouled plugs immediately.

If it produced a lot o smoke, then it worked! After I ran seafoam it fouled a few of my plugs too. It's expected to happen and most of the guys on here recommend replacing them either way after running seafoam.
