Is this important?

What is this and how important is it? It came disconnected while wheeling this weekend. There isnt enough slack to reattach it right now so how much of a problem is it to leave it off until this weekend when I can get a new piece of tubing?

Thanks for any help you provide.

so thats where the filter is on a 3.0!???!?!!!?!? lol.

i'd say it's something evap system related....i'd say you're good to go but i'd just run over to an autoparts store and grab some heater hose and throw it on there.

It goes back to the fuel tank area somewhere...

Would this cause a CEL? or is that more likely to be caused from the exhaust leak after the manifold?

Its not too important though, I drove for 4 months with it being detached.

What do you know, that does look familiar! I'm guessing this is a common occurrence after the body lift then...

I'll get a new piece of hose this weekend and get it hooked back up. Thanks for the help.

Yeah thats what I did, autozone had the right hose for it. Just tell them its for fuel vapor, not actual fuel.
