OHC electrical problem

This isn't anything I have read on here before. The other night, I was out driving and I started noticing that whenever my bass hit, the OHC wasn't staying dim (lights on). Now, i just installed a 130 amp alt, and have no issues with headlights dimming, even with the a/c running and the radio turned up. I notice this from time to time if the truck is at a very low RPM.

any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (Android)

I would check your connection for your dimmer wire. Also I don't know if yours is the same way but mine was very sensitive to the actual dimmer switch. I ended up just un hooking the dimmer wire from the ohc and its not that bright at night

I know when I used the tap connectors behind the radio for the power, vss, and dimmer I didn't have a 100% conncetion at first. Discarded those and bent my hands and arms into crazy positions to solder everything up solid and shrinktube everything. No issues since...just a thought

if ur struggling with accessing the wires, the gray and black wire can be found going to the back of the gauge cluster, u can pull it out and plenty of room and the others i think can be found behind the headlight switch.
