Possible for lights to stay on after vehicle has been turned off and exited?

My neighbors have one of those 300Cs and I noticed that when she gets out of the car at night she closes the door and locks it and the headlamps stay on for about 10 seconds after she arms the alarm. Is there any way possible I could do this on my ranger?

Just get the autodimming/autolamps interior rear-view mirror from an Explorer and wire it up. It turns the lights on at dusk, turns them off after key off and an adjustable delay. The mirror also has an autodimming feature when bright lights are following.

Found this on ebay....I used to owe an ex with these...Would they work with my ranger? If so, how hard would it be to wire up?

Wont bolt on. Ranger and Explorer door frames are a different shape.

Well the 300/Charger thing is done through the Body Control Module/Front Control Module. To get the lights to stay on after the key fob is clicked like on them would be impossible on a Ranger but I'm sure you can figure something out.
