oil sending unit ????

oil sending unit ????

Does anyone know where the oil pressure unit is... I have read all the other post and still cannot find it? All I see is one that has a red wire to it, not green.

Its a 2001 ranger XLT 4.0 V6 SOHC

I looked on the drives side, through the tire area, under it.... I cant find it

Does anyone have a pic

believe its on the passenger side, back of block...really close to hitting the pass side exhaust manifold.

3.0 sender is screwed into the block behind the passenger side cylinder head.

4.0 sender is screwed into the driver side of the block, near the front, below the A/C compressor. Color code is green/white.

4.0 showing the hole in the block w/o the sending switch installed:
