P S pump pulley

Any tricks on how to hold the P S pulley still when installing it ? It still needs to go about 2 v grooves back to be in alignment, 2003 3.0l Thanks boots

are you using the pulley tool?

Yes, it came off fine with the puller part & went on with the pusher part, it just locks up about 1/4 in from where it needs to be then the pulley starts turning

The pulley is facing the correct direction, right?

Do you have the wrenches located like this? The tool will thread all the way in and hold the pulley. You will hold the pulley with the wrench closest to the pulley.
