Panic Alarm

So my panic alarm likes to go off randomly and it is really starting to annoy me. It has woke me up in the middle of the night and just went off again. How Can I disable it?????

Ah there was just a thread like this, let me try to find it.

Try changing the remote batteries, a couple guys have had the same thing happen and that was the problem.

yeah i read that... idk know if thats the problem or not.. cuz my keys hang on the wall and i have to run and get them to trun it off

Yeah I would defn check that, easy fix. Or just take the battery out of the fob and see if it still does it.

mine went off today when re-attatching the battery cable. I cut the damn thing out.

yep changed the battery in my key fob and it still likes to go off randomly...... any other suggestions?

Hum that doesn't make sense. There might a ground issue in the panic alarm control relay or something. On other notes, freakin great weather we had today wasn't it?

AHHHHHHH!!!!! MY horn/panic alarm is one unit, so i cant take the panic alarm off. Do you think my horn relay is shot? Is it worth it to try and get a new one and see if this solves the problem??????????

whats a horn relay cost? might be the deciding factor right there. Your asking if its worth doing but thats only a question that you can answer IMO.

worse come to worse ya might cut it out an re-wire in a horn.

yah i was wondering if anyone knew how much they cost....might go to a junkyard thurs and get one...

They won't cost much at all, I'd be suprised if it was over 10 dollars.
