Ok, here it goes... lol

A while back I removed my doors to be cool basically, and I totally regret doing it.

You have to cut all the door wires and so I did. Then I put some quick disconnects on each of the end of the wires so I could hook them all back up. Ever since then my truck thinks that the d-side door is always 'ajar.'

But for some odd reason, when I unplug the mirror switch, I can keep the d-side door open and it won't say it's ajar and the dome light will not come on unless and of the other 3 doors are open.

I think that I have all the wires connected correctly and I have no clue why it's doing what it's doing. But there are some of the same color wires that run through the door.

I really need some help!

have you tried pb blaster in the locking mechanism? sometimes they get stuck

 

you just need to find a whole new harness.

 

werd..go to a junkyard hit em up..

and get me a door panel for my d-side and ill come pay for the panel and help install the harness

 

There are 2 yellow/blacks on the driver side. One is for the door ajar sense and the other is for the power mirrors. They could be crossed.

Yeah, i was about to say the same thing... maybe a couple are the same color and you got them backwards...
