performance chip info - please

aloha all,
could some one out there in ranger land help me out with some info bout a " performance chip " ??
i've read all the stuff out there (that i'm aware of) ... i'm sure that the $69 one isn't the top of the line deal.. seems too cheap to be a quality product..
so would some one please post some info bout what's really gonna work for my truck ..
It's a 2000 reg cab - long bed
2.5l x 5sp - 3:73 gear
air intake - cat back exhaust
that's it ...
Thanks all, have a great day !
ray

I used Superchip's Cortex in my truck and it made a pretty good difference. I love it, and when im on a road trip i take out the performance tuning and put the available gas saver mode and it increases my mpg about 3-4ish. Its not really cheap but its not overly expensive, its super easy to use and i recommend it
