Radiator Support

On a 98. how do u remove the radiator support? is it bolted in? welded? I know how to get the header panel off, so it would just be after that.

there are two bolts at the bottom that mount it to the frame, but that should be it minus all the brackets for the header panel, etc.

you can see the holes all down the sides, and come across the front of the core support:

i honestly didn't take the core support out of that one. it was a friends truck, he did that part, then i inherited the truck. i would get a spot weld cutter and use that to leave as much metal behind as you can. then a chisel and hammer should take care of the small areas you may have missed.

the core support is 98+. the welds line up almost perfect between the 93 and 98.

How huge was the struggle to get the radiator support into place? The part I have looks like yours but it seems to tall by a couple of inches to fit in place.
