my 91 ranger has the windows that only go down 2/3 the way and stop. is there any way i can alter it or buy something that makes them go all the way down?

get to the inside of the door to see how far up your motor assembly and all that is mounted. you may be able to move it down if its up high. im pretty sure theres no sensor or anything that tells it to stop.

you could also swap out assemblies from a ranger or explorer that doesnt stop that way. keep the stock glass though.

find another truck with manual windows or you could gut the entire assembly from a truck with power windows and convert.

you may also be able to take off the doors of the donor truck and mount them to yours. if the truck has power windows, just make sure you cut the wires long enough to do somethin with.

Sounds like something is screwed up, every Ranger I have seen, the windows can go all the way down. Sounds like something is binding up in there, and not letting the window go all the way down.
