Traction Control Button on 2004 Ranger XLT

Hi, new member here with a (probably dumb) question.

I just bought my ranger yesterday, and I cannot seem to locate where the button to disable the traction control is. Can someone point me to where it is, or do the '04 models even have the option to turn it off? Thanks in advance!

It doesn't even have traction control... Unless I'm mistaken, rangers didn't get TC until 2008.

Thought so. I know it's either 08 or 09. It was government mandated by 2010 right? No idea.

All I know is 04's don't have it. Thank god.

Thats actually the first thing I look for when buying a vehicle. Making sure it doesn't have TC lol.

If it does have tc, just unplug the abs hub connection then it's disabled. Do it every winter lol

No traction control in 2004. if you're having trouble trying to spin the tires then your truck really needs some work lol

My 3.0 actually likes to break them loose although its tweaked a bit . But still less powerful than your 4.0 so it should spin no problem!
