Need to tap into the turn signals and parking lights for mirrors, where to find?

Ok, I'm working on a little project, and need to find out how to tap into the turn signals and the parking lights for my mirrors I'm attempting to fit on my truck. Thanks!

Can't you just splice into them?

Splice into the wires in an area where they are easy to access and easy to repair. Just run the wire to the mirrors

Why yes, of course!

I was hoping somebody would tell what wires to find in the cab of the truck so I don't have wires running all over the place.

Or you could look at the headlight wiring and trace it up the fender, splice into it, and run 3 feet of wire to each mirror... Not exactly hard to figure out, and very easy to hide in the wire loom

The wires are accessible in the interior. When asking any technical question, please include year/model/engine/trans and other pertinent info. Adding a signature with your vehicle description is a good way to do it.

2002

Left turn = dark blue/white
behind dash fuse 3 or in the steering column harness (left side).

Right turn = brown/yellow
behind dash fuse 7 or in the steering column harness (left side).

Parking lights = solid brown
at the dimming module or headlamp switch or GEM
