I have a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT and yesterday the driver window would not roll up or down, the passenger window still works fine, after rockin the switch back and forth for about five minutes it finially started working again, I can also hear something clicking under the dash when this was going on. Had the same problem again today. Then it returned to normal. What is causing this?

 

mine the window switch was failing. try jumping the switch to see if its the problem. the clicking is probably a relay
