Rust by Windshield
I am needing to replace this windshield in order to get a safety done here in Ontario, which is one of toughest province to get a safety done, sadly, but when i took it in to get looked at the rust is to bad for them to put in a new windshield without abiding by their laws of being reliable for any leaks. This is a corporate business which i can see being tough on things like this. So I am going to take it into a local business which does windshields and see if they will put one in. If not then I am going to most likely do the windshield myself, cutting costs, and fixing up the spot with filler. Now none of these places do body work so my concern is having to take out the windshield to fix this spot then transporting it to get done. what are your thoughts? I have a good idea of putting windshields in and have the tools but is there maybe a step by step for rangers on this sight. Also is the rubber stripping around the windshield reusable? Thanks

uh yea...youre gonna pull that glass out and that area is gonna fall apart...the glass is holding that together...im willing to bet a windshield replacement place wont even touch the truck..and dont even think of packing that with filler...it wont work...that metal needs cut and new welded in
