Fuel Gauge Programming?

I feel i have read something on this but is there a way to relearn or reprogram a fuel gauge. Before when i would
Go below E it would take 16 17 gallons to fill up. Now its like 14 15. Idk i its because i went below E too many times and now it thinks somethig different or what. Amy ideas would be great. Thanks guy

You probably just have more in the tank.

Usually wen i have that much left in the tank its right past the quarter mark.

I do notice the same thing. I have two picture from when my truck was directly on E. one took 17 gallons to fill. the other took 13 lol both reading E however. So I'd be interested in this too
