Stock fogs dif colors with silverstar bulbs

So one of my original foglight plugins was slightly burnt and wouldnt always make a connection. So i replaced it with a plug from O'reillys. At the same time I installed new silverstar bulbs. I noticed while adjusting them one of the bulbs was whiter and more defined, so I went back to the store and exchanged the bulb from the left side. I assumed it was the bulb that came in the old packaging. Anyways the new bulb is sharper but its still not as white as the right light with the new wiring. Do you think the new plug and 5 inches of wire make that much difference? Thanks, Jeremy

Its possible that its getting more "juice" so its brighter.

Are the lenses the same color?
