passenger headlight dimer then drivers
hey all I have always had this strange problem with my 2000 ranger truck. For some reason my passenger headlight is always duller then the one on my drivers side of the truck. It is extremely noticeable as it puts out a brownish color compared to white on the drivers side.
I've already tried multiple different sets of bulbs(even individuals and different brands) in each side and get the same result every time. Also tried using them in the stock headlamps and my new projector headlamps as well as no headlamps with the bulbs just dangling lose. Same result the passenger side is always duller.
I'm now becoming frustrated as I cant figure out why. I'm wondering if there is some bad wiring causing a voltage drop? anyone else know what it might be or what I can check to narrow it down? plus any other tips? btw I have a multimeter i can use too.
Thanks for the help :)

well I checked the ground itself and it does seem to be ok. Also i got out my multimeter and took voltage measurements at each connector and found the passenger side getting 11.40 v vs driver side getting 12.80 v.
I hoping to look more in depth in to this problem later on today when I will be getting together with a mechanic friend of a friend of mine. Wish me luck

Still havent been able to figure this out. Even replaced the bulb connectors on my truck. But recently what we did was able to wire up some extra leads directly to the battery for testing with a multimeter and I came to the conclusion that something is wrong in the path of my positive lead for the passenger side. This is the wire that is blue with a green stripe on it.
What I'm wondering does anyone know where this particular wire goes? l thinking like the path it takes under the hood, into the cab, etc. Any relays or fuses it might go through?
I need to nail this down so i can figure out what to replace as its been getting worse recently :(

I'm really tempted too but not so sure i should with the cops in our town who are often bored. They might enjoy giving me tickets since they don't have anything better to do :(
If i do though I'm thinking about getting some bixeon kits(so i can still have hi/low beams) at 4300k so its not so noticeable except for being way brighter.
Of course I already blew away $50 for silverstar ultras from autozone.
