I have a 99 Ranger 3.0 keeps missing and cutting out, happens more when it is hot out it has an elctronic egnition. first thing i have done is changed the plugs and wires. and cleared the codes popping up.... ran fine for about two weeks and then when to **** again. it almost acts like a fuel problem but im no good at trouble shooting. In the mornings it starts right up and i drive it to work. when i get off work and after it sets awhile it does not want to run right. answers anyone.....

Don't know what the codes were but it said something about miss firing and running lean on certain cylinders

 

Check for a vacuum leak.

Amazing how big enough leaks can really kill the performance of an engine.
