Icon4 1999 starting problems. Help please.

I have a 99 2WD 3.0 V6 and it wont start. I've never had any problems with starting. Ever. but today i went to start it and it was kinda lagging and i thought this was because it was cold. The next time i started it, it got a little worse. When i went to start it the last time it wouldn't start. It just tried to turn over very very slowly and then it just gave me a rapid clicking sound. Battery has full voltage. Any ideas?

well even though your battery sounds like its good voltage...that rapid clicking means your battery is dead...prolly drops when you crank it...have you tried jumping it

No I haven't tried jumping it yet. I was waiting to do anything until I could isolate the possible problems. I will definitely go try that though. Thanks.

Pull the battery have it tested. While its out clean your terminals even if they look ok.
