I can start my truck it will run for a few miles then just stop and cant start it til next day . when I put gas in it I can only put a gallon then it starts spitting gas out. When it's running and I open gas cap the gas start flying out of tank

Hard to tell from description, but here is how your fuel system works:

Fuel pump is in the gas tank, it turns on for only 2 seconds when key is turned on.
It won't come on again until engine starts or you turn key off and then on again, to get another 2 seconds.

Fuel pump sits at the bottom of the gas tank, and is connected to the fitting for the fuel line at the top of the tank by a "hose".
If that "hose" should crack then the 35psi fuel pressure can spray out, if crack is pointed at Filler tube.............well gas would be squirting out while pump was running(engine running).
And the crack wouldn't let all the gas flow to engine so running engine would eventually run out of gas and stall.
At that time if you were to turn the key on and off several times you could build up pressure again and see if it restarts.

The filler tube has a Vent tube running next to it, this vent tube allows air out while you are filling the tank, if vent gets clogged then air can't get out and gas tank gets an "air dam" inside, fuel backs up in the filler tube turning off gas pump and spitting some gas out.
These two things are unrelated.


Rest of the fuel system:
from the gas tank the Fuel line runs to a fuel filter, in the frame rail under drivers seat area, from filter it runs to the Fuel Rail, between upper and lower intake, fuel injectors are on the Fuel rail.
Also on the Fuel Rail is the Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR), this is connected to the Fuel Return line, when fuel pressure is above 40psi FPR opens and lets extra fuel/pressure flow back to the gas tank, from FPR back to gas tank is one line no other connections.

Gas tank also has an EVAP system, back in the 60's and 70's there was a concern that gas fumes are polluting the environment.
EVAP system uses the engine's vacuum to pull gas fumes from the gas tank, thru a charcoal filter and then into the engine to be burned.

None of the above really fits into your description.

You could get a Fuel Pressure gauge and see if system can hold 35psi pressure, if not then most likely problem is in the gas tank, fuel pump

To access the gas tank on Rangers it is often easier to unscrew the 6 bolts for the bed, unhook filler tube and tail lights, then slide the bed back or remove it, but a 2 person job.
4x4s often have shields to protect the gas tank and other parts so dropping the tank down can have complications but can be done alone
