Wire offroad lights to door dinger.

Well Ive searched and Ive only found the opposite. Most people want to get rid of the dinger, but I on the other hand want to add to it. My truck didnt come with fogs, so I had to add my own using lights, a relay, and a switch. Just like most would mount offroad lights. Only problem is that I keep leaving them on for some reason cuz sometimes I just drive with only the fogs on during the day. How would I add that circuit to the door dinger so my dumb *** wont leave them on any more?

Wire them to an accessory circuit, and then they go on and off with the switch, but turn off when you take the key out of the ignition.

Use an accesory wire to trip a relay to turn them on.

yeah, all you have to do is pop in the wire that would flip the relay, into your fuse box, where the ACC. fuses are. and just add in a switch if you want to choose when you want it on/off, or just wire it to the ACC and have it on all the time, when the car is on.

Thats probably what I will end up doing. Currently I have the power wire running into the fuse box in the engine bay. So running the wire into the fuse panel should be a piece of cake.
