Wet Passenger Floorboard

Wet Passenger Floorboard
Every time it rains, my passenger floorboard gets wet. About a year ago I had the 3rd brake light sealed and that fixed the problem, but recently it has started back again. I took it to the place that did it, and they said it didnt need re-sealing. I park under a carport so I dont understand how the water is getting in. The headliner is not getting wet so I dont really think it's coming from the 3rd brake light because nothing else other than the passenger floorboard is getting wet. I took it to a glass company and they did a water test and couldnt find anything. Anyone have any suggestions as what to do next? Also, its an after market brake light that I changed out, do i need to replace the light again?

If you have AC then evaporator tray drain hose could be clogged up, it is passenger side of center hump.
AC is on when Defrost is on so it can leak water year round.
Next spot is lower windshield corner passenger side.
The windshield sits in a trough that circles the windshield.
Water gets under the trim molding and runs down around windshield until it sits at the bottom of windshield in that trough.
Trough rusts thru because of the water sitting there
Water leaks down on to passenger floor
It can take some time, so driving in the rain and then parking under cover would still get leaking as water runs down into lower trough and then inside
Try pouring water on to that area to see if it is the leak point
If you pull the trim you can often see it, the rust and hole

I had this problem at one point, too, but in my specific case, it was neither of the above. Still good info though, so definatley look.
In my case, there was a small, round, grommet in the floor that had began to leak. I pulled the carpet back and removed the grommet then RTV'd the snot out of it, let it cure over night and put everything back together next morning. It's been about a year now, and nothing has happened further with it.
