$70.00, for a HID conversion?! would this be ranger safe, i know when i got my ranger i tried putting LED's in the tail lighs, and it didn't like it very much, i was just wondering if this would be safe, or would it screw something up later down the road

that's not an HID kit...it's just a relay and some high wattage halogen bulbs. Even if I could afford HIDs I wouldn't buy them because the Ranger headlight housing isn't made for HIDs they are wide angle and would blind everyone else on the road....just get some Silverstars.

i have the silverstars, i just came across it, and was very questionable. i am happy with my silvestars, and no that i got my factory fogs working, i need to get some for the fogs also

does anyone know what bulbs are in the factoru fogs?

It depends on the year of your truck. I know the 2002+ use 9145 with 9005 as a drop in replacement also. Not sure about the previous years.

Just get some hid look bulbs (mine are Toucan Xenon plasma) and they look alot better than stock and if you're careful with what type you pick you won't melt your headlights.

9005s in factory fogs

is running 9005's safe, they are 65 watts, and the ones that come in there are 42 watts?!
