Who has a 2011 2.3L with Cruise?
So here is my deal
I have a 2011 Ranger 2.3L automatic. It however does not have cruise control. I used it all the time on my old Lincoln and now i miss it very much.:( Therefore I want to install cruise control.
NOW, some of you are gonna say look over by the window washer resevoir and see if you have a 10 pin connector and say that is your cruise control and "yay your prewired" or "lame your not"
I do not have the 10 pin connector.
HOWEVER
I took a little trip down to TWO local ford dealers and found that the wiring harness for the truck with cruise and ones without cruise are the same exact part number, which would lead me to believe that the wires are in there somewhere but with no connector (im sure doing this saved ford about $100,000).
So, I have wiring question/favor to ask of you fellow Rangerists.
If any of you have a 2011 or close to it (2010, 2009) that is a 4 cylinder WITH OEM Cruise Control (i dont do aftermarket bullshit if i can help it) I was curious if you could possibly take pictures of:
1.Where the servo is mounted
2. The wiring going to the servo (mabye a list of the wire colors
3. The pedal assembly (paying careful attention to the brake switch and any other position switch on the brake pedal. According to alldata there is a backup switch for the CC if the brake switch fails or all the brake lights go out)
4. *This one is kind of over the top but would totally be awesome if you took the time to do it* remove the lower cover on the steering column and take pictures of the wiring so i can see what being prewired looks like
I understand that this is alot of work but i would really appreciate being able to see how everything flows so i can go spend about $1000 on the parts to install it :D
Thanks
