right turn signal not working

like the title says the right turn signal isn't working. the left side works fine, when i turn on the right signal the arrow stays on, there is no clicking sound, and the front turn signal bulb stays on, the rear end is a little different i have an aftermarket Led tail light with a control box installed but it was all plug and play, The running light works on the rear tail but when i turn the signal on nothing happens. I removed the Led tail light and just put a stock bulb back in. and now i get a rapid flashing turn signal in the front and nothing in the back, i have not tested the brakes out but I'm guessing there not working either on that side. it might also just be my imagination but when the stock bulb was in and i turned on the signal it smelt like it was burning at the socket.
